Downloading Imagery Instructions
These are the instruction for downloading imagery using this
interactive map. Another method is to
use the text interface.
1. Go to your area of interest using the
Zoom-In tool
or one of the Find commands from the toolbar
above the map.
2. Imagery and DEM’s are organized by
Quadrangle so turn on that layer by clicking the check box next to it under Map
Contents. Turn on other layers as
desired.
3. For more layer options and the
legend, click the plus sign next to the layer name.
4. Click the identify button
and then click on the map in the desired area.
5. Move the mouse over the tag that
appears and click the left down arrow.
For more help using the identify tool, see the link at the bottom of the
page.
6. In the dropdown list, click the name
of the quad you clicked. It will be
followed by “(Quadrangles)”.
7. What should be displayed next are the
attributes of the quadrangle you selected.
Clicking the “LinkToImagery” line
highlighted in blue brings up the imagery selection interface. The “LinkToDEMS”
line brings up the DEM selection interface.
You must allow “Pop-Ups” on your browser from this function for this to
work.
